It is brilliant with free standing, wall trained or climbing roses, marvelous with any other wall trained shrubs & a must for growing with gray foliaged flat spreading conifers. It is non-clinging but does grow well up into, or over other plants. Some training & tying in will be required in windy exposed conditions. Blooms in early summer. Zones 4-9. Its flowers are off white with sometimes green or pink tinges to the sepals & they are 5-7" in diameter & are borne on the previous season's stems from May to June. The stamens are light chocolate brown, giving a good contrast to the sepals. It cannot be considered a good repeat flowering plant, this is offset by the sheer volume of early summer flowers. As well as being grown in a container, it is rather good with other wall trained shrubs or climbers for the smaller garden. Zone 4-9. Part of the Gardini™ Evison™/ Poulson® Collection.

cl. 'Rosemoor'™ Evipo002 (N): An Evison/Poulson cultivar introduced at Chelsea in 2004 as part of the Bicentenary Plant Collection. Deep red with yellow anthers. It too can be grown with roses & other wall trained shrubs. It looks marvelous with ceanothus especially the pale blues, but other gray foliage shrubs with blue flowers make a marvelous foil for this cultivar. The volume of flowers it produces over such a long period of time is rather staggering. Zones 4-9. Part of the Gardini™ Evison™/ Poulson® Collection.
